MVOM has a long history of helping those who have fallen regain control of their lives and become productive citizens in society. After years of service in the Vine City community, the ministry continues its work from Southwest Atlanta and throughout the metropolitan area. Incorporated in 2015 as a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization, MVOM serves people challenged by substance abuse issues, homelessness, unemployment, and other life disruptions.

MVOM provides assistance through education, counseling, substance abuse education, HIV education, referral resources, recovery support groups, training opportunities, and compassionate care. The ministry also helps provide food, clothing, educational materials, support groups, and transportation support through its funding and partnerships.
